Larissa Watt
"helping people help themselves"
The word passion is often overused, but Larissa’s is evident in her career. A Personal Trainer and Strength Coach since 2010, she has continually invested in education, up-skilling, and refining her craft.
Her own health challenges led her to search beyond conventional answers. Once labelled a “fitness fanatic” and told her training was the cause of ongoing fatigue, dizziness, and eventual collapse—despite training only twice per week—she knew the truth lay elsewhere. A history of glandular fever, adult chicken pox, chronic digestive issues, and years of prioritising work over sleep made burnout inevitable.
Her energy issues compounded with back injury and the road back after loss of function of her left lower leg. Crawling through life it felt which led to ongoing research into energy systems, the nervous system, digestive health, hormones, and their impact on physical and mental performance, Larissa rebuilt her health. Then she rebuilt her body to become pain free today.
This journey sparked a deeper purpose: helping others function and perform better. Today, she blends extensive Strength and Conditioning experience with a Health Science degree in Naturopathy and Clinical Nutrition to train smarter, avoid burnout, and build strength—physically and mentally. This is the standard she brings to every client, young or old, athlete or corporate, mothers and fathers alike.
Clients describe Larissa as elite, passionate, and meticulous. She delivers highly personalised programs, pushes when needed, calls hard truths, and insists on rest when required. In 1999, while working as a pastry chef, Jade discovered Muay Thai as a new way to stay fit. What began as training soon evolved into competition and a lifelong love for the sport.
Learning she was lactose and gluten sensitive cemented the connection between food, mood, and wellbeing. With the right nutritional and lifestyle guidance, Jade found a more sustainable and positive mental outlook.
Alongside her career as a chef, teaching Muay Thai became a passion that led her to qualify as a Personal Trainer. While her journey continues to unfold, the foundations are strong. Jade lives by the philosophy: be good to your body and it will be good to you.
